This year, we celebrated Dad's birthday early...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!!!! As my Dad is spending his birthday in Honduras this year! We are SO incredibly proud of him and can't wait to hear all about it when he gets back. It's his first mission trip and a big trip to take without Mom, so I can only imagine how different his stories will be when he gets back!
I remember the days when we as youth were going on Mission trips. Now, selflessly, it's a parents turn. Oh, how the tables turn. It's something that Dad's been wanting to do for awhile, but Mom and Dad have always been so incredibly selfless at putting us first. Now that we are all grown, it's fun to see the things that they are doing for themselves!
We got together today to celebrate early, Jenn and Allan couldn't be there, but it was still a nice afternoon and evening! We laughed, we argued (isn't that a normal part of family get-to-gethers?), we ate, ate and ate some more...which is always common at a Mosselman household! Mom cooked a delicious lasagne, some garlic bread and made cesear salad. For dessert: mine and Dad's favourite!!!!!
CREME Brulee!!! YUMMY! She absolutely aced it! Thanks Mom and again, Happy Birthday Dad, we love you!
